Our Leadership and Team Development Approach

Traditional management training includes many courses such as Time Management, Effective Communication, Delegating 101, The Top 10 Tips for Greater Leadership, etc. all with valuable content. However, this content has a hard time “sticking” when the leadership inner operating system is reactive and outdated. Have you ever been to a 3-day workshop, had an epiphany that you are certain will be life-changing for you and your team, then found yourselves back in the same old dynamics a mere 2 weeks later?

Consider this analogy:

If you can, imagine trying to load Windows software onto a DOS operating system. There is nothing wrong with DOS. It was perfect for its time; it just can't handle the complexity required by Windows programs, so the Windows program won't run on it. In order to get the new software to run, the old operating system needs an upgrade.

The same is true of many leaders' operating systems: they were great back then when things were simpler, however they just do not meet the demands of our more complex times and circumstances.

Upgrading your inner operating system enables and empowers you to get off the treadmill of wasted energy and defeat, and begin working smarter by installing a new platform of beliefs and behaviours that support all of the "what to do" content of the greatest leadership books and workshops…

…leading you to sustainable business results and greater satisfaction for you, your team, and the entire organization.

Our clients know that our longer-term, more strategic approach to leadership development is a wise investment of time, energy, resources and dollars.  Because our leadership and team development programs focus on both the content “The What” and the upgrade of the inner operating system “The How”, at the same time, the work can create deep transformation at the individual, team and organization levels, which contributes to and drives better business performance, more effective leadership, and the creation of sustainable results.

What often begins as reluctant participation:

"Do we really have to take time each month out of our busy schedules for this?"

…consistently ends with deep commitment and appreciation:

"Not only is this incredibly useful, it is vital and has made an enormous contribution to our business outcomes and internal effectiveness."
